Following her years as a corporate technology executive and success in the direct sales world, Brenda was called to help other small business owners achieve their goals through the methods she pioneered. In 2015, Brenda founded Sassy Suite and with her acclaimed social media training tailored to small business, she has provided video-based training to thousands of solopreneurs to bring their business online, differentiate themselves from others who sell the same or similar products or services, and build a loyal community of customers, teams, fans, and friends. Through Sassy Suite training, many of her clients have gone on to find measurable success in their small business. Brenda prefers to spend her days creating, strategizing and engaging with our community. She's the Queen of drinking Diet Coke, pinning all the things she'll never do and she runs 5k and 10k races like it’s her job. She thrives on the success of our community members and is shamelessly dedicated to fulfilling the Suite's mission to #empowersocial.
Vice President, Business Operations
Rebecca has spent years in small business management and operations after earning her a B.A. in Management. Her experience in the inner workings of small business growth and development spans the financial, service and retail industries. She now spends her days at the Suite running all internal projects that support the Suite's business and client's goals. Her Suite family jokes that she 'spins all the plates' and does #allthethings. Rebecca joined the Suite team in 2016 and fell in love with the intensely supportive and empowering community the Suite maintains for its clients. She is proud to serve such an incredibly driven community of independent business women.
Operations Manager, Sassy Direct
Tammy is a serial entrepreneur and mother of five. She spends her days juggling home-schooling, scaling Mt. Foldmore and building online businesses through social media and blogging. As a stay at home mom with 5 kids, Tammy spent a lot of years finding ways to build a career that allowed her to work from home. This included 'brick and mortar' businesses as well as online businesses all surrounded by the chaos of kids. She found the most family/work balance when she found the direct sales industry and things went up a notch when she added blogging to the mix. Tammy decided to take her love of social media and blogging for small business and make it her mission to help other overachievers build their own online empires from home. Tammy loves the sense of community, the sharing of knowledge and the empowering of women that happens in the Suite – helping each other to grow and take not only their businesses, but their lives to the next level. As the Director of Operations for Sassy Direct, Tammy spends her days making sure the technological wheels keep turning and assisting our members maximize their online presence and grow their businesses. When she's not doing that, she's obsessively learning about blogging, social media and technology strategies that helps small businesses, so she can pass that knowledge onto our Suite family.
Operations Manager, Sassy Suite
Born a Midwesterner, Julie spent most of her formative years in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. With a lifelong love of words, she sought out creative writing courses and graduated with a B.A. in English. In her professional career, her focus on communication shifted from creative to technical, as she built her resume in the legal publishing industry through positions as a production specialist, business analyst, IT trainer, and instructional designer. She is very detailed (earning her the nickname “Eagle Eye” among Sassy Suite staff) and geeks out over terms like “procedural,” “workflow,” and “efficiency.” Julie is the master of the magic behind the scenes of Sassy Suite. She manages all the tools that make the Suite run. From building the products in our course directory to automating administrative processes, things move smoothly around here because of Julie's touch. She greatly appreciates the diverse community of camaraderie, support, and empowerment the Suite provides to both its clients and staff members.
Social Media Strategist
Naomi is a self-proclaimed numbers lover and data geek. She's a trained therapist and career counselor who tripped into social data analysis and strategy integration. Naomi worked for more than a decade as a professional ghostwriter and has written and published more than 65 novels, novellas, and short stories in that time, about 1/3 of which made best sellers lists for their authors. Her own book has been on a bestseller list for three consecutive years. As the Social Media Operations Analyst for Sassy Suite, Naomi studies the numbers and develops strategy based on algorithmic calculations. #smartypants The Suite has significant reach and is dedicated to empowering others. For Naomi, the best part of working for the Suite is being a part of something that helps so many.
Having lived in northern Minnesota her entire life, Michelle is no stranger to winters that last for, oh, approximately 14 months out of the year. When she’s not shoveling snow (haha, she doesn't shovel!) or making pretty things from her couch/office, she is entertained by her pre-tween daughter whom she and her husband adopted from Vietnam when she was an infant. Michelle loves the Suite for the empowerment it gives others to learn the tools necessary to be successful running a home-based business. She's proud to be a part of the Suite's mission to change the perspective of social media marketing by teaching people non-spammy marketing tactics and truly giving people the knowledge and education needed to be successful. As the graphic designer for the Suite, Michelle makes the graphics for all of our social media channels, which means she gets to fall down font and vector rabbit holes daily. #sendcookies
Amanda "Mandy" Elisala, has a background in data entry and customer service. She supports the team at Sassy Suite as the Executive Assistant and general office manager. Since joining the Suite team in September of 2018, Mandy has fallen in love with the sense of community the Suite provides. Mandy loves to travel and never goes anywhere without her camera. She has a goal to visit every country and continent, collecting as many stamps in her passport as possible.
Kokopelli Danielson Ster, “Suite Koko” assumed the title of official office puppy in the summer of 2017. She is widely known in the #dogsofinstagram community and is dedicated to the practice of making sure she’s the center of attention at all times. That being said, she is proud of her job of maintaining employee morale. She's always happy and loves to play so, she makes sure she visits everyone, everyday. She's the head of the Shenanigan Department and is a bonafide social media influencer. #nolie
